Microsoft Works 9 is the perfect suite of home productivity tools that will make your everyday tasks easier than never before. The program is really easy-to-use since most of the utilities within the suite can be controlled and accessed through the Task Launcher homepage. The Works startup screen initially offers access to a calendar and contacts, but you can also view templates. The calendar, along with its appointment and contact management, is a useful alternative to Outlook. The suit includes a word processor, spreadsheet and database application, all of which are new versions of Word, Excel and Access respectively. A great new feature is that the word processor includes its own dictionary, which is very useful and has a nice user interface. On the contrary, the program has very little to offer as regards formatting options. It just lets you perform basic font and style changes and mail merge. Microsoft Works 9 would really appeal to those interested in creating and managing basic projects.
Easy-to-use. Nice and simple user interface. Great value for such a good price.
Well, I wanted to write a question about the Windows XP program I am using, but that was not allowed
on this frame. So, I shall ask the question here. Let me identify the porduct I am talking about,
its credentials are: Windows XP Home Edition 200.Virtual Memory:buggy app./with a memory leak. Java
2 Run time Environment can not be upgraded. Many files missing. Internet address on this computer
is: 70-148-61-1-49 Key code is:525-2524-6266-22AS-B2DC The major offense aside from being inoperable
in most cases is Procedure entry point SHregetValueW dll shlwa this program is shut down entirely.
I would like to know why you would allow emachines to install a microsoft program. That should be
your job. Emachines are great. I have two. But I buy my shoes at a shoe shop not a bakery. How
dare you allow some beauracracy with no genuine interest in your product to install it. Windows XP
came with the program preinstalled. It has not updated since 2003. SP2 will not run, and install
does not work. If I were a bug I guess I would install myself too. I want you to answer me. Not a
paid to answer me out side entity but Microsoft. I do not want every thing to stop just for me. So
everything at Microsoft will stop for all of us who have been hurt by this process of passing the
buck. No answers by Microsoft, and just forgetting about what happens to your product win the end
users hands. I am so disappointed. I want you to anwer with a solution not just for me but for all
the customers you have hurt with this practice. Thelma
